The hotel smelled. The nonsmoking room smelled of smoke and cheap air freshner. The breakfast was horrible. The employees were very friendly!
Rooms :-(. .....THE 80'S Called and wants everything but the microwave and small fridge back !! Carpet needs STANLEY STEAMER...and no one else will do. Recliner comfy but needs Stanley as well. Repairs to tub... ridiculous...80'wallpaper... Popcorn ceiling poorly painted at edges where it meets a wallpaper BORDER!!! Cleaning of room leaves gray dust edge at carpet edge all around the room! Ugh !

I have been here for several weeks now and the place is nice, the staff is nice, the rate is reasonable. The beds leave something to be desires. Most of the ones I have slept on are so firm. I just as well have laid sheets on the concrete floor.
Motel is pretty old, (1970?). TVs are old tube type, but that doesn't even bother me. What bothers me is the 1880 cowboy mattresses they try to call a bed. We are forced to stay by the company we work for. Mattresses have no springs and are placed on solid wood. I'd never pay to stay here. Staff is very friendly. It's not their fault the mattresses are terrible.
I am guessing this is a 2 star hotel so it lacks a lot of luxuries that some Hotels provide. So what? The Hospitality House provides large, attractive, spotlessly clean rooms that are quiet and have great beds. We were very happy with the breakfast, the large clean dining area was a good place to eat and the gravy was spot on. Yes, this is a motel, and Yes it is old... but it is also one of the nicest places we have been in for years. Almost forgot the front desk! They were super!
